Christian Howes (born 21 February 1972, Rocky River, Ohio) is an American musician, teacher and composer. He is an associate professor at the Berklee College of Music. His artistic collaborators have included Les Paul[1] and Greg Osby, and his sponsors have included Yamaha.
The 2009 Down Beat Critics' Poll ranked Howes at #2 under Rising Stars/Violin. The Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune called him "the finest, fieriest jazz violinist since Billy Bang."[2]
