Jazzland Recordings
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Jazzland Recordings is a Norwegian jazz and improvised music label based in Oslo, Norway, often associated with nu jazz. It was founded in 1997 by pianist Bugge Wesseltoft[1] to release his "New Conception Of Jazz". It is currently a subsidiary of Universal Music Group[1][2] and operated as a standalone label. Originally, there were 3 divisions of the Jazzland Recording label, "Jazzland," "Grüner," and "Acoustic," but these have been dropped in recent years.
