Mamas & Papas
The Mamas and the Papas
The Mamas and the Papas war eine US-amerikanische Musikgruppe der 1960er-Jahre, die unter anderem für ihre Titel California Dreamin’, Monday, Monday und Dream a Little Dream of Me bekannt ist.
Geschichte
The Mamas and the Papas musikalisch bereits getrennte Wege gingen.
John Phillips und Denny Doherty gründeten 1982 eine neue Gruppe namens The Mamas and the Papas, der neben diesen beiden Originalmitgliedern noch Phillips’ Tochter Mackenzie Phillips und Elaine „Spanky“ McFarlane (ehemals Spanky and Our Gang) angehörten.
