Loretta Lynn (* 14.

August 1926 in Butcher Hollow, 22. August 1996 in Hurricane Mills, (Tennessee)).

  • Betty Sue, * 26. November 1948, 29. Juli 2013[3]
  • Clara Marie (Cissy), 4. März 1951
  • Jack Benny, * 7. Dezember 1949, 24. Juli 1984
  • Ernest Ray, * 12. April 1959
  • Peggy Jean + Patsy Eileen, * 3. Juni 1964

Ihr erster Nummer-1-Song war Don't Come Home a Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind). 1971 begann eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit mit Conway Twitty. 1972 bekam Lynn als erste Frau den CMA Award Entertainer of the Year. Die Academy of Country Music kürte Lynn in den 1970er Jahren zum Künstler des Jahrzehnts.

Loretta Lynn verfasste zwei Autobiografien: Coal Miner's Daughter und Still Woman Enough.

Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn enthielt Lynn-Interpretationen anderer Country-Künstler wie Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Steve Earle, Martina McBride, Lucinda Williams und Lee Ann Womack. Eine weitere Tributveröffentlichung war das Album Butcher Holler A Tribute to Loretta Lynn von Eilen Jewell, das eine Mischung bekannter und weniger bekannter Loretta-Lynn-Stücke enthielt.

Diskografie

Loretta Lynns Diskografie umfasst 54 Studioalben, 15 Kompilationsalben, 88 Singles und sieben Musikvideos.
